HISTORY & VISION

Prior to the present name was used, some Missionary minded believers giving a great zeal for the lost souls. Since 1964 attempt was made to reach unreached people groups with the Gospel. Those ardent and dedicated believers are called ‘Seekers of Lost Soul’. Later in 2nd July, 1972, nearly after  decade, the present name Thlarau Bo Zawngtute (Mizoram Missionary Society) is used for its name. At present T.B.Z  comprises 52 Units from different denominational Churches in Mizoram. It is one of Associate Members of North East India Christian Council (NEICC) and an Affiliated Para Church to Mizoram Presbyterian Church Synod. Our vision was to facilitate indigeneous Church Planting Movement and equip Church leaders to plant rapidly multiplying Churches among every people group wherein Christians are reproducing themselves and reaching out with the Gospel to their own people inside and outside India.
